Meet Your Hosts Thea and Kelsey!
Thea:
Even though Kelsey and I were not instant friends, there was a connection between us that we knew would lead to a lifelong friendship. Our friendship dates back to the most awkward middle school days; back when I wore leopard-print jeans and had a weird obsession with llamas. Kelsey, on the other hand, was the biggest theatre and Dr. Who nerd on the block (and probably also wore leopard-print jeans).
Where we really started to bond was through theatre and mutual friends. She was the stage manager for my first and only speaking role in middle school theatre. In high school, our mutual friends convinced me to join them in the backstage crew where Kelsey was in charge of everything and everyone. Together we ran a handful of amazing shows that I will cherish forever. Along the way, we became super close, took classes together, and solidified our prophecized best-friendship <3
Now, I'm in college studying plant biology and entomology! Kelsey and I don't go to the same school, but we frequently call each other, visit, and go on adventures!
Kelsey:
Thea and I bonded in a way that neither of us expected. I consider Thea to be a ray of sunshine and I can always look upon to be cheered up. From our adventures throughout high school, to our current late night phone calls, we have always had each other's back.
Recording the podcast gives us the chance to share our stories and laughter. We use the time to catch up with each other and keep the podcast as a time capsule into our friendship.
I am currently living my best life in LA. Finishing my last year at UCLA and diving head first into the entertainment industry!
